Sylwia Bujkiewicz is Professor of Biostatistics based in the Biostatistics Research Group at the University of Leicester. She is an expert in Bayesian evidence synthesis methods for combining data from diverse sources including multivariate meta-analysis (of multiple outcomes), network meta-analysis and meta-analysis of data from mixture of study designs (randomised and non-randomised studies). The main focus of her research is in development of such methods for evaluation of surrogate endpoints and predictive biomarkers and application of these methods in the context of health technology assessment decision-making and in a range of clinical areas including cancer. She is a member of NICE Decision Support Unit and NICE Guidelines Technical Support Unit.
