I am a Consultant Clinical Oncologist based at the University Hospitals of Leicester. I have a special interest in exploring the use of radiotherapy in Mesothelioma.
I am the Clinical Lead for Stereotactic radiotherapy and have instrumental in establishing Leicester as one of the first few centres to be commissioned for Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy in the UK.
Jon Bennett is an Honorary Professor of Respiratory Sciences at the University of Leicester, a Respiratory Consultant at Glenfield Hospital Leicester and Chair of the British Thoracic Society Board.
Maurice is a Medical Oncology Specialty Trainee at the University Hospitals of Leicester and an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow with the University of Leicester. Prior to studying medicine, he gained research experience when he completed a PhD in exercise physiology and inflammation in patients living with kidney failure. His main interests are in testing novel anti-cancer therapies in clinical trials and he is developing his skills as a clinical academic in the Oncology department.
